Murværket i røde tegl er afstemt efter den oprindelige villa i både farve og format, så tilbygningen fremstår som en harmonisk forlængelse af huset. Vinduerne er proportioneret med reference til den eksisterende vinduesrytme og udført med klassisk sprosseinddeling, hvilket sikrer et sammenhængende og helstøbt udtryk.

The new brick extension has been designed with respect for the existing villa dating from around 1900, continuing its proportions, materiality, and architectural character in a contemporary interpretation.

The extension accommodates a new entrance area and foyer, which function as a central hub within the house. From here, a natural and well-organised flow is created between the entrance hall, the staircase leading to the basement, access to the living room, and the home’s other functions. The new addition therefore contributes not only additional floor area, but also a clearer and more efficient internal layout.

The brickwork, executed in red clay bricks, has been carefully matched to the original villa in both colour and format, allowing the extension to read as a harmonious continuation of the existing building. The windows are proportioned with reference to the original window rhythm and feature traditional glazing bars, ensuring a coherent and unified architectural expression.
